Smart reconciliation
Match every bank transaction to the right invoice, expense, or payment: deterministic rules first, an AI suggester for the tricky cases. When nothing fits, the same engine drafts a ready-to-confirm expense, invoice, or contract from the transaction or its source document.

What it does
The reconciliation system clears your bank feed by pairing each transaction with the record it settles: invoices, expenses, recurring charges, inter-account transfers, VAT payments, and credit-card closings. A deterministic matching layer handles the obvious cases on confidence-scored rules, and every confirmation feeds a learning loop that sharpens future matches to your counterparties and patterns.
For anything the rules cannot resolve cleanly, the AI Reconciliation Suggester steps in. For a given transaction it assembles a focused context (open invoices and expenses, recurring charges, nearby transfers, and open VAT payments within a 90-day window) and asks the agent to rank the best candidates, each returned with a confidence score and a plain-language reason for the match. You stay the decision-maker: suggestions are presented for review, never auto-committed. The same flow runs in bulk, so a freshly imported statement can be triaged in one pass instead of line by line.
When a transaction or document has no counterpart yet, the system shifts from matching to creating. The AI drafts the missing record (an expense, invoice, or contract) pre-filled with counterparty, dates, amounts, VAT, and even line items pulled from the underlying document. Document triage proposes the right action (link to an existing record, create a new one, or flag a duplicate) with alternatives ranked behind the top pick, and contracts get a guided wizard. Every draft opens in an inline form for you to confirm or adjust before it is saved.
